Sunday Talk: Stone on Gender ID, Transitioning, and Social Media Usage

State Representative Henry Stone of Forest City has been working on several bills including one that provides an easier path for teacher licensing. Now he is focused on bills before the Iowa House of Representatives that deal with gender ID and gender transitioning. He has some concerns about how sex education and issues are approached in schools along with a child’s decision to transition. He also is concerned with social media and its influence on children including bullying, self-confidence, and influence on young minds that may lead to suicide.
