Waldorf University Changes Hands

Waldorf University in Forest City has changed hands and is now a non-profit institution. The university was under the ownership of the Columbia Southern Educational Group. However, formal documents to transition the ownership over to the Waldorf Lutheran College Foundation were signed on Thursday according to Waldorf University President, Dr. Robert Alsop.

Alsop had nothing but praise for the previous owners of the university and appreciated their efforts to move the institution forward.

From this point forward, Alsop believes that with the new ownership and a return to its roots, the university will grow both in academics and in student count.

There is a positive feeling developing on campus that the university will see success and this stems from a record fall enrollment last August.

Alsop looks forward to the upcoming spring enrollment period and a bright future for the university.
