West Hancock is heading back to the DOME

West Hancock is heading back to the semifinals of the Class A playoffs for the third time in four years; the Eagles dominated the second half against North Linn to defeat the Lynx 52-21.
Mark Sanger, while speaking on KIOW’s Coaches Corner Program:
West Hancock took control in the first half, 14-0, but North Linn put a good drive together to bring the game to 14-7. Though the momentum didn’t last long, Jaxen Peterson took the ensuing kickoff back for a touchdown, maybe one of the game’s biggest plays.
West Hancock will now advance to play Lynnville-Sully Thursday at 10 AM in the UNI-Dome; the Hawks are the 4-seed, while West Hancock is the 1-seed. They’re joined by the 1:00 PM game that will feature #2 Grundy Center and #3 Woodbury Central.
The game will be live on KIOW and KHAM at 9:45 with Jay Hiscocks and Kevin Wilson.
