Winnebago Supervisors to Discuss Fair and Impartial Elections

Election integrity has come into question recently as efforts have been made publicly to discredit the election process in Iowa. The Winnebago County Board of Supervisors will meet on Tuesday morning with the Iowa Secretary of State’s Office Molly Widen, Legal Counsel to discuss fair and impartial elections. Widen will answer questions on how the election process is done in both the county and in the state. The public is invited to attend.

Winnebago County Engineer Scott Meinders will discuss secondary road matters. He will also ask the board to consider for approval a Resolution to accept bid from Dustrol, Inc. in the amount of $1,314,478.07 for Project No. FM-CO95(83, 84, 85)—55-95, R74 South Paving and to award the associated contract with the project and to authorize the County Engineer to execute said contract.

Drainage matters will be discussed with Winnebago County Drainage Clerk Kris Oswald who will highlight any current or upcoming projects. She will ask the board to approve the specifications and bids for work to be done in Drainage District 92.
