The defending Class A champion West Hancock football team took another step towards a visit to the UNI-Dome on Friday night, as the Eagles held off a very talented Wapsie Valley team 16-9. The Eagles used touchdown drives in the 2nd and 3rd quarters to score all the points they would need. Kane Zuehl had 23 carries for 100 yards, and Rylan Barnes had 7 catches for 94 yards. Barnes also lead the defense with 6 tackles. West Hancock is now 10-0, and plays host to North Linn Friday night in the quarterfinals, with a trip to the Dome on the line. Kevin Wilson and Jay Hiscocks will have the live play by play on KIOW, B103, as well as on the West  Hancock video stream.
