Wright County Board to Discuss Operation Green Light

The Wright County Board of Supervisors will meet on Monday beginning at 9am to to discuss a 28E Sharing Agreement with the Department of Transportation (DOT) for the Driver License Station at the courthouse.

As Veterans Day approaches, there is a movement among area Veterans Affairs Offices to hold a Green Light night. Chris Oliver, Wright County Veterans Affairs Director will talk about Operation Green Light with the board to show support for Veterans. The board will review and act on Resolution 2022-39 regarding Operation Green Light.

Adam Clemons, County Engineer will ask the board to consider a new employee for Patrol Operator in the Eagle Grove Maintenance Facility and a new employee for Truck Driver in the Clarion Maintenance Facility. He will also ask the board to consider adding Tiffon Pohlman as authorized representative to Wright County Engineer’s Office credit cards for administrative purposes. Clemons is also expected to give a secondary roads update.
