Garner now has an indoor batting cage location for area residents to enjoy which furthers the emphasis on baseball and softball in the city. Mayor Tim Schmidt is excited to see this addition to the downtown business community.
The Good Nature storefront has remained empty for some time but now with business growth happening in Garner, Schmidt feels that this is a good fit for a baseball and softball hungry community.
The high school has recently built state of the art facilities for both baseball and softball which are setting a standard for the game sites in the conference. All this comes from a passion for the games by area residents.
