Worth County Board Moves Forward on Soil Evaluation Studies

Iowa State University is doing an evaluation in a number of counties on soil wetness and compaction with regards to how it impacts underground pipeline and utility construction. Worth County is getting billed for their part in the study according to Worth County Supervisor A. J. Stone.

The study will look at soil compaction during construction and burial of pipelines and utility lines. The purpose is to aid farmers and contractors both according to Stone.

Prior to the installation of the pipeline which will run through Worth County, the board is making sure that every measure in the process is covered with both studies and resolutions.
