With the area harvest season in full swing, many of the ambulance drivers in the West Hancock Ambulance Service are also in the fields combining beans and corn. This means that there are now opportunities who would be available to drive the ambulances to and from emergencies.
Jen Vaske is a manager for the West Hancock Ambulance Service explained that the application process is simple.
Most people would think that these drivers would have to be a Britt of Kanawha resident, but Vaske said that was not the case.
Emergencies can happen anytime of day or night, however Vaske stated they are looking for people who can contribute.
Those who would be interested can call (641) 843-3750 to apply.
