Worth County Board to Discuss Ambulatory Service

The Worth County Board of Supervisors will meet on Monday morning beginning at 8:30am. The board will hear from Worth County Engineer Richard Brumm on the current state of secondary roads in the county. He will discuss maintenance of the roads and any projects that are currently in progress or planned.

Brumm will discuss the reclassification and annexation of Drainage District 13. He will be joined by the county drainage clerk to review these issues along with reviewing a resolution regarding construction in drainage districts and utility permit.

The board will current state of ambulatory services in Worth County and where improvements may need to be made. This conversation follows a trend among area counties who have declared emergency medical services as an essential service. Worth County is looking to improve its staffing and equipment to better serve its residents.

The board will also receive a report on the Manure Management Plan for the county. The report is expected to be an update on the plan which may be approved by the supervisors.
