Area farmer’s markets are generally staged during the weekdays. However, the city of Britt was approached about holding the open-air market on Saturdays from 9:30am to 11:30am. Mayor Ryan Arndorfer explained that the market will be on the City Hall sidewalk.
The council gave their permission to stage the event on city grounds with the hope that the market would grow.
The next market will be this Saturday morning.
