Forest City Council Approves Stop Sign on NSB Way

Citing concerns for safety, the Forest City Council moved ahead with the placement of a stop sign on the north end of NSB Way. Forest City Mayor Ron Holland explained the move.

City Administrator Daisy Huffman explained that the public had a chance to comment on placement of the sign.

As a result, the city council waived the third and final reading of the ordinance and voted to pass it. The move came after the owners of the old Bomgaars facility had repainted the parking lot and changed the parking space set up. The markings would not allow for traffic to continue to flow straight through the parking lot, but instead force drivers to go to the far east end of the lot to travel through.
