The city council of Britt continues to move forward with the new water treatment facility. In a recent city council meeting, the board approved a third pay estimate of $244,359. Mayor Ryan Arndorfer explained.
Arndorfer stated that the project end is within sight.
In a related note, the old water tower is expected to be torn down this week or into early next week. Parts of the tower will be retained and formed into a sculpture on the same site.
