Britt Offers Assistance to its Golf Course

The Britt Golf Course may be in need of some groundskeeping assistance. As a result, Mayor Ryan Arndorfer explained that the city stepped forward to help.

The Emerald Ash Borer is a non-native invasive insect that has been found in all of the area counties. It bores just underneath the bark of an ash tree and will eventually kill it. It has a signature boring hole that looks like the capital letter “D”. Arndorfer stated that the city has become proactive in stopping any infestation into the city.

The city may take the issue of treating the trees at a later date.

Arndorfer explained that the city took the initiative to treat the ash trees in the city because it made good financial sense.
