The Hancock County Road Department is starting on new projects to improve road conditions in the county. Hancock County Engineer Jeremy Purvis explained to the Board of Supervisors what some of these projects were.
There are still other projects which need to be completed according to Purvis.
Patchwork will also begin in various parts of the county.
Purvis also explained that there is bridge construction going on in the county.
Road workers are asking the public for patience and to give them plenty of room to work in construction zones.
