Garner continues to make improvements to the city roads. State Street is one of those projects and the city just approved a second payment estimate for the work that has been done so far. According to Mayor Tim Schmidt, the city council and he both see a tremendous improvement to the road.
Schmidt also believes that not only are the improvements aesthetic, but they were needed from aging infrastructure perspective.
