The area will see road projects starting today with one project and continuing until August 26th. Winnebago County crews will replace a timber bridge with a 10′ x 10′ concrete box culvert. The project is located about 6 miles northwest of Leland on 440th St. between 140th Avenue and 150th Avenue. The road work will be done on a gravel road. Project is expected to take 2-3 weeks. Road will be closed during construction.
A second project is planned between Monday, September 19th and Friday, September 30th. The project is on County Road R 50. Winnebago County crews are planning to replace this rotten 96″ diameter metal culvert with a 96″ polymer-coated metal culvert. Project is expected to take 3-4 weeks. Traffic will be detoured east to R60.
