The Cerro Gordo County Board of Supervisors will meet on Tuesday morning beginning at 10am. Among the items to be discussed will be claims and payroll. The supervisors will also take a look into drainage issues and any current and upcoming projects.
The board will also look into the costs of running a special election for a vacancy on the Swaledale City Council. The board will also certify the election results.
Finally, the supervisors will look to approve a Destination Iowa Grant Contract. Destination Iowa is a $100 million investment by the state to bolster the quality of life in Iowa’s cities, towns, and communities. It is designed to attract visitors and new residents to the state. This effort will provide grants that are designed to help communities move forward on transformational, shovel-ready attractions.
