The Forest City Aquatic Center is back open again today, and not a moment too soon considering the temperatures the area will experience today. The pool opens after the city replaced a pump and tested the chemical levels in the water for safety.
Forest City Parks and Recreation Supervisor Sue Edmundson explained to the city council on Monday night that she believed the pool would return to operation before the end of the season.
The remaining schedule will operate for the most part as it did in the beginning of the season according to Edmunson. There will be a couple of days where the routine will change.
Admission is $4 and can be paid at the pool. Children 2 and under are free. Daily passes can be purchased at the Aquatic Center. Family and Individual passes can be purchased online or at the Forest City Parks & Recreation Department.
