Ilene Mavis (Peterson) Schnebly, died on Friday, July 29, 2022, after a courageous battle with cancer with her family by her side.
Memorial services for Ilene will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, August 5, 2022, at the Forest City United Methodist Church, Forest City, IA, with Pastor Les Green officiating. Inurnment will follow in Oakland Cemetery.
A gathering of friends and family for Ilene will be held from 4:00 – 7:00 PM on Thursday, August 4, 2022, at Schott Funeral Homes, 505 North Clark St. Forest City, IA.
A reception celebrating Ilene’s life will be held at the Forest City Fire Hall following the memorial service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Forest City Fire Hall, United Methodist Church, Mercy Hospice, Mercy Cancer Center, or donor’s choice.
