Area cities have clean-up days where they take in things that don’t normally get set out with the trash or recycling. In Lake Mills there are actually two dates set aside to do this according to City Clerk Diane Price.
Price mentioned that those who want to participate need to bring whatever it is that they are throwing out up to the disposal site.
The disposal site will be west of the Creamery and will take place on Saturday, September 10th beginning at 7am. Price encourages everyone to arrive as close to 7am as possible because once the site is full, it will be closed.
