Wright County Board to Form Opioid Abatement Fund

The Wright County Board of Supervisors will meet at 9am on Monday to first review the Wright County Trails Committee changes. The board wants to reaffirm what changes have been made.

The board will then sign a 28E Sharing Agreement for services between the county and the Wright County Charitable Foundation.

The county is trying to combat the amount of opioid that is making its way into the county. To combat the problem, the county is considering the formation of the Local Government Opioid Abatement Fund. the board will consider Resolution 2022-32 that allows for the creation of the fund.

Wright County Engineer Adam Clemons will brief the board on the current state of secondary roads in the county. He will forward proposals on funding of bridge projects and grant applications.
