HIGH SCHOOL BASEBALL: Quarterfinals in Classes 1A and 3A opened the baseball state championships

The state baseball championships are being held in two different locations again this year. Monday was the opening day for the Class 1A tournament in Carroll and the Class 3A tournament in Iowa City. Tuesday will be the Class 2A quarterfinals in Carroll and the Class 4A tournament in Iowa City.
