Hancock Board to Discuss ATV’s on Secondary Roads

The Hancock County Board of Supervisors will meet on Monday to review an amendment to the Fiscal Year 2022-23 budget. They will set a date and time for a public hearing to allow for the public to voice their opinion on the issue.

The board will also consider Ordinance 28. This ordinance permits limited operation of all-terrain vehicles and off-road utility vehicles. The board will consider continuing to allow the practice or to ban the vehicles on these roads.

The board will look into drainage matters and hear about the current state of secondary roads. Discussion will also concern procedures and conditions for construction in drainage district right of ways.

The meeting will take place in the Supervisors Room of the Hancock County Courthouse beginning at 9am.
