Winnebago VA Office Ready to Help Area Veterans

Those who have served the United States in the military are looking to receive benefits in a wide range of areas. Some of these benefits require the assistance of the Winnebago County Veterans Administration. Mary Lou Kleveland is in charge of the department and explains that her work can be intricate.

Kleveland has a number of programs and benefits that have been specifically set aside to help veterans get back on their feet, assist with a medical issue, or get monetary benefits owed to them, but it first takes a veteran to come in and talk.

The services are not just limited to the veteran. According to Kleveland, families are also welcomed to come in and get assistance.

Kleveland sees a number of veterans who live outside of Winnebago County and welcomes each one. While she handles each available program for veterans, there are a number of things that she does the most often.

The Winnebago County Veterans Administration can be reached by calling (641) 585-5736.
