The city of Garner is moving forward with a tax increment financing status on Reichardt Park. This is part of the Garner Urban Renewal Program recently passed by the city council. Mayor Tim Schmidt explained the situation.
Schmidt was very clear that this was not for future business development.
There was a thought to place a dog park there, but the city is still considering its options on that project.
