This week’s MBT and KIOW Prep of the Week is a senior at Forest City high school. Joey Hovinga helped Forest City win the conference title last Thursday with his performances in the distance races. Hovinga was also named the conference male athlete of the year. Next year, he will attend Central College in Pella and run for the Dutch in cross country and track.
