Some Forest City School Teachers Will See Pandemic Bonuses

Governor Kim Reynolds announced during her Condition of the State address in January that Iowa would use federal pandemic relief funds for schools to pay $1,000 bonuses to classroom teachers who stayed through the pandemic in-person and will continue in their jobs next year.

According to Forest City Community Schools Superintendent Darwin Lehmann, the school board discussed the bonus plan at their meeting on Monday night last week.
