The Iowa Legislature has advanced the annual Student Equity bill to Governor Kim Reynolds this week. Forest City School Superintendent Darwin Lehmann is appreciative of their efforts.
Representative Henry Stone of Forest City who helped pass the bill is satisfied with the current supplemental rate but continues to fight for education at all levels.
The legislature continues to discuss other education measures in the current session.
