On Tuesday, Rep. Terry Baxter of Garner welcomed Belmond-Klemme FFA members to the Iowa House. Baxter has welcomed many youth groups in the past to tour the Iowa House of Representatives. The group got to see the inner chamber of the House and tour around the Capitol Building in Des Moines. Opportunities like these give area students and youth groups a greater understanding of the workings of state governments.
