Kanawha Acquires New Geographic Information System (GIS) Equipment

Kanawha has taken one step closer to simplifying mapping of its underground infrastructure. Mayor Gloria Sobek stated that the city has new  geographic information system (GIS) equipment.

The system requires some training, but is an invaluable tool in locating underground lines and areas where trouble may be occurring. This saves precious man hours trying to locate and resolve issues.
