The Lake Mills City Council will meet Monday evening to discuss a number of issues before the city. The first of these issues will involve a public hearing and involve fencing around the pool area according to City Clerk Dorene Holstad.
The city will hear public comment before taking action to either amend or keep in place the rules in Ordinance 278.
The City Council will look to hire a new Deputy City Clerk. They will discuss and possibly take action on Resolution 21-39 which authorizes the hiring of the new employee to fill the role. If passed, the city is already considering an individual for the post.
Lake Mills may be the site of a family oriented golf course according to Holstad.
The city will look to approve submitting a grant application for the mini golf course along with the hiring of an engineer to study the feasibility of the project.
The council will also approve various liquor licenses, moving funding from the Employee Benefits Fund into the General Fund, discuss snow removal, and hire an engineer for the paving of the North Oaks Cul-de-sac.
The meeting will take place in the Lake Mills City Hall on Monday beginning at 7pm.
