In Person Absentee Voting Ends Monday in Hancock County

The pre-registration deadline and request for absentee ballot by mail expired on Friday in Hancock County and throughout the area for the June 2nd primary. New voters will have to follow the election day registration requirements.

The last day to request a ballot in person is Monday by 5 pm in Hancock County. These requests must be made in the Hancock County Board of Supervisors Office.

For the primary election on June 2nd, precincts have been consolidated into two polling places.

Precinct numbers 1, 5, 6, 7, and 10 which consist of the townships of Ellington, Madison, Garfield, Concord, Ell, Liberty, and Avery along with the City of Garner, City of Goodell, City of Klemme, and the City of Forest City on the Hancock County side will all vote in the Garner Public Library located at 416 State Street in Garner.

Precinct numbers 2, 3, 4, 8, and 9 which consist of the townships of Crystal, Bingham, Orthel, Britt, Erin, Boone, Magor, Amsterdam, and Twin Lake, along with the cities of Crystal Lake, Woden, Britt, Corwith, and Kanawha will vote in the Britt Municipal Building located at 170 Main Avenue South in Britt.
