Forest City, Lake Mills volleyball teams remain undefeated in TIC West Division play

The Forest City volleyball team defeated West Hancock in straight sets Tuesday night in Top of Iowa Conference West division action. Set scores were 25-9, 25-2, 25-20. Hannah Anderson led the Indians with 10 kills and 13 aces. Brea Dillavou added 23 assists and 4 kills. Forest City is now 10-0 and hosts their home tournament Saturday morning, starting at 9 AM.
The Lake Mills volleyball team defeated Garner-Hayfield-Ventura 25-12, 25-12, 25-8. Lake Mills was led by Hannah Hanson’s 11 kills on a .917 hitting percentage. Ashley Groe had 28 assists, and Dana Baumann had 8 digs. GHV was led by Taylor Gerdes’ 4 kills, and Bailee Frayne’s 9 assists and 8 digs. Lake Mills is now 16-1, and plays at Forest City on Saturday.
