Michael Morgan and Pavle Mihajlovic, who were seniors on the Waldorf University men’s basketball team this past season, were announced as members of the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Honors Court on Tuesday.
Morgan and Mihajlovic were honored for excelling in academics during the 2016-17 campaign. The NABC Honors Court recognizes the talents and gifts that student-athletes possess off the court and the hard work they exhibit in the classroom.
In order to be named to the NABC Honors Court, a student-athlete must be a junior or senior academically, a member of the varsity team, maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 or greater, complete at least one year at their current institution and be a member of a NCAA Division I, Division II, Division III or National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Division I or Division II institution with a NABC member coach.
Morgan and Mihajlovic were also NAIA Scholar-Athletes and North Star Athletic Association (NSAA) Academic Scholar-Athletes during their final season with the Warriors.
