SPORTS NEWS JUNE 11 2015 The Forest City baseball team defeated North Iowa 10-0 in 5 innings Wednesday night.  Jordan True had 3 hits, Tanner Thompson 2, and Tyler Rasmussen got the win on the mound, striking out 3, and limiting the Bison to just 2 hits.  Forest City now takes on West Hancock Friday

SPORTS NEWS MAY 12 2015 The Garner-Hayfield/Ventura boys won the final North Iowa Conference track meet with 131 points.  Bishop Garrigan was 2nd with 106.50, Forest City was 3rd with 95.5, Lake Mills had 74, Belmond-Klemme 53, North Iowa 52, Osage 50, West Hancock 49.5, Eagle Grove 44, Newman Catholic 28, and North Union 18.5.

SPORTS NEWS MAY 5 2015 The Garner-Hayfield/Ventura boys track team won the Don Hoppel relays Monday night in Garner, scoring 122 points. The Indians got 2nd place finishes from the 4×800 team of Maggie Mathiasen, Rachel Koch, Emily Koch and Morgan Kingston and a 2nd place finish from the 4×400 team of Lydia Schwartz, Mathiasen, Kingston, and Rachel Koch.
