SPORTS NEWS MAY 19 2014 BOYS SECTIONAL GOLF MEETS WERE HELD THROUGHOUT THE STATE FRIDAY.  AT THE SECTIONAL IN BRITT, THE BELMOND-KLEMME GOLF TEAM FINISHED 2ND AS A TEAM, QUALIFYING FOR DISTRICTS.  WES BUNTENBACH LED THE WAY WITH A MEDALIST ROUND OF 77.  BISHOP GARRIGAN WON THE MEET WITH A 321, QUALIFYING ALL 4 GOLFERS

The Forest City Boys golf team defeated North Iowa 171-185 in their season opener on Tuesday.
