Annual Shoe Drive for Kids in Need

July 27 - August 12

The United Way of North Central Iowa’s Annual Shoe Drive is collecting shoes in Winnebago County until Wednesday, August 12 in Forest City at 3M, Shopko, KIOW and now at Pritchard’s of Forest City and in Buffalo Center at Weaver’s Leather Store. Sending a child back to school with a new pair of athletic shoes increases their self-esteem and physical activity. Shoe distribution for those in need will take place Friday, August 14 at the Elementary School in Forest City…

Britt City-Wide Pool Party

North Iowa Festival of Brass will be held on Friday, August 1  at the Forest City High School. The festival is a Drum Corps International open class competition.
