Forest City walks off twice against Eagle Grove, area scores

The Forest City softball team took their Top of Iowa conference game with Eagle Grove 5-4 on Monday night. Kelsey Koch singled to start the 7th, and advanced to 2nd on an overthrow. She then stole 3rd, and came home on a groundout for the win. Anna Anderson doubled twice, had 3 hits and 2 RBI. Callie McQuown had 6 strikeouts in the circle. Other Monday softball scores:

The Forest City baseball team escaped Eagle Grove 3-2, scoring twice in the 6th and once in the 7th to get the win. Ben Midtgaard drove in the two runs in the 6th, and went the distance on the mound, scattering 7 hits, striking out 3. Other Monday baseball scores:
