Registration is open for summer courses at North Iowa Area Community College (NIACC). Classes begin May 15 and June 12. Students are encouraged to enroll soon before classes fill up.
Summer school is a great opportunity to get a head start on college classes or to lighten your fall class load. “Whether they are a NIACC student or are home for the summer, attending another college or university, a student can take a general education course at NIACC. Our summer classes have the benefits of small class sizes with close personal attention from our instructors and these courses tend to be pre-requisites to higher level courses. Most of our summer students take one or two courses over the summer and find they enjoy the less formal atmosphere of summer classes.” said Rachel McGuire, Director of Enrollment Services.
Many online courses are offered, making it easy for students to enroll and take a course from any location.
Session dates are:
Session 1: May 15 – June 9
Session 2: June 12 – July 21
