Randy Kabrick of Bancroft pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute 500 grams of methamphetamine in the Bancroft and Kossuth County area. The 63 year old was sentenced in Sioux City Federal Court to ten years in federal prison.
Assistant United States Attorney Jamie Bauers pressed the court for a ten year sentence. Kabrick was sentenced to 120 months and given a special assessment of $100. He must also serve a five year term of supervised release after the prison term. There is no parole in the federal system. Kabrick is being held in the United States Marshall custody until he can be transported to a federal prison.
The case was investigated by several sheriff’s offices including Kossuth and Emmet offices along with the Iowa Division of Criminalistics Investigation.
