Frazee Pleads Guilty to Possession and Domestic Abuse Charges

Andrew Jay Frazee of Forest City, pled guilty to “Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance Second Offense,” an aggravated misdemeanor, stemming from an methamphetamine investigation by the Forest City Police Department on November 20, 2016.  Frazee was sentenced to serve 365 days in the Winnebago County Jail, with all but 30 days suspended, and ordered to pay a $625.00 fine, applicable surcharges and court costs.  The fine was suspended.  Frazee was placed on probation for 1 year to the Department of Correctional Services.  Frazee was ordered to obtain a substance abuse evaluation and follow through with all treatment recommendations.  Frazee’s license was revoked by the DOT.  Further, Frazee pled guilty to “Domestic Abuse Assault,” a simple misdemeanor, stemming from an investigation by the Forest City Police Department on November 20, 2016.  Frazee was sentenced to serve 2 days in the Winnebago County Jail and ordered to pay a $65.00 fine, applicable surcharges and court costs.  Frazee was ordered to enroll in and successfully complete the Iowa Domestic Abuse Program.
