Khristian Gregory Cronkwright of Leland was sentenced on the charge of “Possession of a Schedule I Controlled Substance (Marijuana) with Intent to Deliver,” a class D felony, stemming from an investigation by the Forest City Police Department in August of 2016. Cronkwright was sentenced to serve an indeterminate prison sentence not to exceed 5 years and ordered to pay a $750.00 criminal fine, applicable surcharges and court costs. The prison sentence, fine and surcharge were suspended. Cronkwright was placed on probation for a period of 2 years to the Department of Correctional Services. As a term of probation, Cronkwright was ordered to reside at a residential correctional facility for 180 days or until maximum benefits are achieved. Cronkwright was ordered to obtain a substance abuse evaluation and follow through with all treatment recommendations as a term of probation. Cronkwright’s license was revoked by the DOT.
