Bird Pleads Guilty in Iowa DNR Case

Michael Allen Bird of Manly, pled guilty to “Assault While Displaying a Dangerous Weapon” an aggravated misdemeanor, stemming from an investigation by the Iowa DNR on September 3, 2016. Bird was sentenced to serve 365 days in the Winnebago County Jail with all but 7 days suspended and ordered to pay a $625.00 fine, applicable surcharges and court costs. Bird was placed on probation for 1 year to the Department of Correctional Services.
