The Denco Highway Construction Corporation is performing road maintenance work on Winnebago County Road A16 between Rake and Scarville. Winnebago County Engineer Scott Meinders told KIOW News:
One lane is closed and traffic will be escorted by pilot car through the construction zone. Motorists may experience up to 15 minutes delay. Work is expected to be completed in 3 days. Work includes 9 miles of “slurry leveling”. Meinders explains that this is potentially, just the beginning of work to be done on this stretch of roadway:
Meinders was quick to point out that this potentially the start date for the road work. The project has been delayed repeatedly over the spring and summer.
