Most everyone knows him as the car dealer who really takes care of his customers, but many also know him as a tremendous community advocate. He is Bill Pritchard and because of his community leadership, much of which is donated time and effort, he has been chosen as the Grand Marshall of the Hobo Days Parade. It is an honor that is very fitting considering that he was one of the founders of Hobo Days back in 1956.
Pritchard brought his business to Britt in 1957, one year after helping to organize Hobo Days in the same town. The family had been selling American made cars since 1913. The business has prospered over the years because of his customer service.
Pritchard has been in the Hobo Days Parade every year, but this was the first year he has been chosen to be a Grand Marshall.
