The Buffalo Center Public Library has invited a noted author and former northern Iowa resident to speak at the library on July 15th. Alan A. Larson who has authored the Gypsy Curse trilogy, is scheduled to speak at 10am on Tuesday, July 15th. The event will open with a coffee social with cookies at 9:30am.
Buffalo Center residents may recognize him. He is the son of Anne Larson of Buffalo Center who grew up in the Crystal Lake area. He graduated from Woden-Crystal Lake in 1973 and has worked as a certified public accountant with five start up companies involved in high tech computers and software.
Larson has also authored other books such as “Mexicona: The American Dream” whose film rights were purchased by Lonetree Entertainment.
Organizers have not stated what topic he will cover in his talk with guests at the library.
