Officials with the Winnebago County Engineering Office have announced that tentatively beginning Wednesday, July 9, 2014, Denco Highway Construction Corp. will be performing road maintenance work on Winnebago County Road A16 between Rake and Scarville. One lane will be closed and traffic will be escorted by pilot car through the construction zone.
Motorists may experience up to 15 minutes delay. Work is expected to be completed in 3 days. Work includes 9 miles of “slurry leveling” a process in which asphalt slurry is “luted” across depressions to improve roadway smoothness.
