Enjoy a “duesey” of a weekend at Garner’s annual Duesey Days’ festivities this weekend – July 11th and 12th. There’s inflatables and carnival games, cow chip bingo, a kid’s pedal pull, Bill Riley talent show, craft show, a car show, Boogie and the Yoyo’z and lots of food vendors.
The fun starts at 4pm on Friday. Garner Chamber Executive Director Lisa Formanek tells about some of the activities planned.
Byron Nelson is also the featured entertainment Friday night from 5 to 6pm. Nelson’s musical taste was heavily influenced by vintage country, rockabilly, and rock n’ roll.
Saturday kicks off with a 10k/2 mile run/walk at 8am. Registration from 6:45 to 7:35am. Formanek tells about Saturday’s schedule.
Boogie and the Yoyo’z pre-sale tickets are available at the banks in Garner or chamber office for $12 or you may purchase them at the gate Saturday night for $15. You must be 21 or older to enter.
