Forest City baseball picks up a pair of wins, area scores from July 1st

The Forest City baseball team defeated Clarion-Goldfield 12-2 in 5 innings in a non-conference game Tuesday night. Colton Shipman picked up the win on the mound, striking out 3. Jordan True, Mitch Krien, and Shipman all drove in 2 runs apiece. The Indians also won a resumed game with Algona High 6-3. Jake Parks, Tanner Thompson, and Jordan True each had 2 hits.
